Welcome! Vince Malacarne here, and this is Malacarne Music!...Malacarne Music is dedicated to guitarists and all who aspire to become better musicians. You are, after all, a musician, aren't you? Or, are you just a guitar player? A bassist? A vocalist? Or just a pianist? You see, and I don't mean for you to become a professional musician, that's your choice, but as you begin to "fiddle” around on that guitar, bass, piano or sing along track, and if you look hard enough, there are millions of influences pulling you in a billion directions. Almost none of these influences address any level of "musicianship.” I have been a working musician for many, many years. One of the most important lessons I have learned is, the better my musicianship, the better my teaching skills and the better my performance. I average about 50 students a week, along with many gigs. I will tell you, YES, your students are always teaching you something new, they are always challenging you to come up with a way to make them understand. So, let’s start with some basics. There are a few tools you need to start down that road to "Hey! I don't sound half bad!"
